Publish and share a Formius form
A practical publishing checklist for public forms.
Build this form freePublishing changes a form from an internal draft into a respondent-facing experience. Run a short review before distributing a link, especially when the form collects personal or operationally sensitive information.
Once responses exist, treat changes carefully so past answers remain interpretable.
Review before publishing
Confirm the title, instructions, required fields, choice labels, file upload expectations, and confirmation message. Complete the form yourself on desktop and mobile.
Share the right link
Use the public form link in email, a website, or another channel. Keep admin and management URLs private to authorized users.
Change live forms carefully
Prefer additive or wording changes when responses already exist. Avoid removing or changing the meaning of fields that historic reports depend on.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I edit a form after publishing?
